wet day. some mud, but never too bad. a bit slippery on some ledges and certainly on exposed roots, bog bridges, etc. had my summer gear, but was wishing i'd added a couple extra warm layers in the name of safety given the conditions.
a bit cold and wet today especially in the wind on the ridge. a couple views to nearby peaks emerging from the fog and clouds.
first time on the imp south branch. the cut off through camp dodge is a really swell way to finish this loop with a minimal road walk back to nineteen mile. great to be out.
