 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Mt Major lot only had 5 cars at 11 AM thanks to the fog and poor visibility. Sadly, lots and lots of garbage (including dog poop bags, food take out packaging, even soiled clothing) strewn around the parking lot. I picked it up. :) |

 | Comments: |
Great day to redline some lesser known trails. Society for the Protection of NH Forests maintains the the Main Trail up Mt Major and did a big trail construction project this summer where the trail had eroded from water and heavy use. They have added $5 trail access fee collection boxes to help cover maintenance of these popular trails. Great idea! |
