Tecumseh and turkey! A great day and got me home just in time to gobble till I wobbled. A light but consistent rain through the hike. Little wind made it better as the trees where not peeing on us all day. We put spikes on at the descent of the second crossing of Tecumseh Brook and they stayed on to this point on the return. The trails appear wet, but the entire trail is lovely black or glare ice. I should have brought ice skates instead of spikes, might have improved our time. Several good ice flows on the stairmaster. Only saw 2 people on trail and three folks heading out. Spikes where a must today |
