Parked on the side of the road off the trail parking lot. The lot was packed when I got there around 8AM. |

A few streams but nothing that couldn't be rock hopped or walked through (if your boots have a high enough flood line). |

Not impossible for dogs but this time of year with the ice, I wouldn't recommend bringing a dog. |

A very enjoyable hike with good views from the overlook on Mt. Hancock. Didn't throw on spikes until the Hancock-So. Hancock junction, there were some patches of ice before this but they were only 5-10ft long as were quite sporadic, didn't bother putting them on and taking them back off again. Past the junction they were very useful however.
A pretty easy 4000fter for a less strenuous day. Didn't have any problems until I stepped on one of my trekking poles... |
