Comments
Comments: Spikes went on for the first water crossing and remained on the rest of the day. There is thick blue ice going up the steep part of Avalon. I would have wanted crampons if I had come down that trail. A-Z and the lower part of Avalon provided a nice snowy trail with an undercoating of ice. Spikes were great there. Beautiful cold and windy day out!
