Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No blowdowns. The light purple blazes on Weeks are sometimes difficult to see on light-colored trees. For an unmaintained trail, Yellow Trail was in great shape.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Sure. I had the "please keep your dog on a leash" conversation regarding one over-enthusiastic dog.
Bugs
Bugs: Nope.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: One orange handkerchief on Yellow Trail which I carried out.

Comments
Comments: Wet trails to start, then drying out nicely by late morning. Weeks is definitely a lightly-traveled route, but also very quiet as a result. Near the top, I was almost run down by two reckless mountain bikers flying around a curve, so keep your eyes and ears peeled. The steeps on Yellow Trail were slippery due to leaf cover. Chilly and very much like November this morning.
