Comments
Comments: Parked at 19 Mile Brook Trailhead and walked NH 16 to the South Imp Trailhead. The road walk is about 1.2 miles.

I started early, and finished shortly before noontime, at which point the parking lot was full. However, I only crossed paths with a handful of other hikers all morning.

No traction needed as there was only a dusting of snow. Traction was surprisingly good. I did not see or encounter much ice.

Cold, cloudy, and windy at the summits, but the majority of the trails, including the Carter-Moriah Trail, were well sheltered from the wind, making it a really nice day to be out in the woods, even if there weren't any super views.
