Mt. Clinton Rd is gated in the winter and not very well maintained. Go on base station road and then turn onto Mt Clinton road for the trailhead. It saves you a bumpy drive |

Two small water crossings at the end- might be difficult in high water |

A few blow downs going up but nothing immediately on the trail |

| Comments: |
There is a large waterfall near tree line where traction was absolutely needed. We saw lots of people stopping there because they didn’t have any traction. We were in Yak Traks and did fine. |
