Comments
Comments: Didn't have time to get up to the Whites, so I did one of my favorite local hikes instead! Sublime weather, being almost 80 with a light breeze. The trails were covered with leaves, which obscured some footing obstacles, but nothing major. Plenty of hunters were out today, and I heard a few gunshots deep in the woods, I wonder if they got anything? All were very pleasant and friendly. It was very windy at the top of Copple, though the view from the East Peak is always a treat. One unfortunate thing to note was the amount of dog poo on the Copple Crown trail. I know it's an easy trail for dogs, and I encourage people to bring theirs, but please clean up after them...
