Comments
Comments: A super pleasant day, windy on the high summits, but not bad. While we carried light traction, the snow is mostly gone, with only small isolated pockets of snow here and there remaining, which were could mostly be avoided with a few rock hops.

We combined a basically standard Monroe/Washington loop with a tiny bit of redlining. Up Ammo... Monroe first... then off towards Washington.

This was my first descent via the Cog RR ATV path. Man..... only 1.5 hr. to descend! Steep... but fast and direct. Lots of discarded timber and metal from RR reconstruction along the upper portion, which might prove dangerous to snowshoe hikers when the snow begins to cover it.

Fine day out with Larry Y.
