Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking area is just beyond a bit of bridge construction. The bridge over the Peabody is controlled by a traffic light. Beware.  
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Snow - Spring Snow, Leaves - Significant/Slippery 
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The third water crossing (after the second bridge) is easy. Lots of large stepping stones, and all in an easy stepping distance.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail was in fine shape. No blow-downs to speak of.  
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: A few pups having the time of their lives. None seemed any the worse for wear on account of the snow and ice.  
Bugs
Bugs: A couple moths here and there. Nothing huge. No cobwebs to the face, which was a nice change.

Comments
Comments: It was a fine day to be outside. Weather was warm, and so the snow from the previous week is almost completely gone at this point. Weekend warriors will enjoy very clear trails. Most of the bog bridge is in good repair, though I saw one section that's a bit mashed. Nothing, though, that will impede easy and safe travel.
