Comments
Comments: Felt like spring this morning. Probably didn't need to, but used microspikes for the entire hike until the last 2 miles or so. Dramatic difference in trail conditions between start and finish due to warming temperatures. There may not be much snow left in a couple of days.

First time hiking to Middle Osceola. There is a defined trail/path that starts at the last switchback before you reach the summit of Osceola. That trail turns west and then disappears in relative short order. Bushwhack from that point to the summit. herd paths were not readily discernable due to snow. If you follow my tracks they meander a bit, but do end up at the summit. Nice view of West Osceola and Franconia Ridge from the ledge on the west side of the summit.

Parking lot was full but not overflowing at 10:15 a.m.
