Unbelievably warm November day to hike this mountain.I also explored what im guessing is part of the old trail in hopes of avoiding the wider crossing during times of high water.
There are trace amounts of snow at trailhead increasing to a couple inches of melting snow and slush towards the summit. The trail itself had quite a bit of tacky semi frozen water flow which was no problem after the micros went on at 3200 feet. I met 9 other hikers today and it was great talking with a few. |
