Comments
Comments: The lower portion of the footpath (Bayle Mountain Trail) has been relocated from its former start. It now begins about 0.1 mi. to the west at a sign and cairn. This relocation is much more friendly to both hikers and the terrain as the old route is eroded and poorly located on a steep sidehill. It rejoins the original route 0.2 mi. from the snomo trail. The old trailhead has a sign directing hikers to the new start.

Overall, the route was dry with just a few areas of wet ledge. The summit ledges had a couple spots of avoidable ice which won't last long. The real hazard was slippery leaves and hidden rocks on the way down. Beautiful blue skies and cool temps made for a perfect day up there.
