 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Head in parking please on the sides, a couple cars drove straight into the Indian Head lot and basically took up most all the spaces. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
rock hop-able, nice bridges on Mt. Pemi trail |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails were clear. Indian Head Trail has a false dead end path forming off to the right that I brushed in a little but could use some more help. I think the maintainer knows this because after back tracking you notice a series of blazes if your eyes saw them in time after following an old blaze straight. Otherwise it was quite easy to follow the trail |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
sure wonderful trail for pups as long as you leash them so they don't run off the cliff |
|
 | Bugs: |
none |

 | Comments: |
No snow or ice at the south end of Franconia Notch. Good cold and cloudy morning for a hike before the rain moved in later in the afternoon. This loop is 5 miles. We met a least a dozen people headed up the Mt. Pemi trail, lots of dogs! Good 52 with a View day for the Golfing Gals! |
