Quick Peak Above the Nubble for a friends NEHH. I had never actually gone this way, which apparently is the way everyone but me goes. (I did it in april and missed the cairn and just whacked by bearing). Its an incredibly discernable trail, no navigational challenges. Sad to see people claim the NEHH are 'bushwhacks' when they are all (but one) defined herd path highways and on alltrails. Offered stunning vistas of the Presidential Range, Willey, Tom, Field, Hale, Sugarloaf's and North Face Slide on N Twin. Beautiful crisp blue sky day, the only wind of note was my heavy panting. |
