no problems crossing brook - bridges in very good condition. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
trails were in great condition with no blow downs or extremely wet/muddy areas. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
no water from where the trails turns right at the plaque. next available water was on the snapper trail so be sure to bring enough for the dog(s) as you hike to the peak. |

| Bugs: |
mosquitos were fairly heavy along the gorge brook but once you left that area there were none to be found. many horse flies on the carriage trail and very annoying. |

overall a terrific day for hiking but very hot on the open carriage trail.. any wet spots on the trail could be from my hiking partner bob who is a heavy sweater.... |
