Comments
Comments: Took advantage of the time change and got an early start. Pleasantly surprised to get some blue sky and sunshine on the way up along with some views from the lookouts / viewpoint at the summit. The view spur is worth the trip. Wind was gusting pretty good up high, chilly. Snow started on the trail around 2300'and progressed from occasional patches to full coverage of several inches up higher filling in some of the nooks and crannies. Ice is forming on the trail / ledges in the wet area between the Rollins junction / East Loop junction. Saw only 7 other people all day - group of 4, group of 2, and a solo trail runner. Beautiful, peaceful day!
