I hadn't been on this trail in almost a decade. Easy going until the steeps, which are heavily eroded due to the grade and poor trail location. Descending was a bit treacherous combined with the heavy leaf cover and acorns. Both outlooks still offer nice views.
From the "not the summit" cairn, I noted an unmarked but obvious trail which just misses the true summit and appears to head down the NW ridge. I didn't have the time today to see where it goes. |
