Comments
Comments: I did this loop clockwise, starting with a 1.2 mi. road walk along NH 16. Watch for fast-moving traffic!

In general, the trails were either dry or damp. The ski trail segments had some mud and water, but the water bars were working well. Both hiking trails are very very steep (yikes) on the NH 16 side, and very very easy on the Carter Notch Rd. side. Hall's Ledge Trail takes care to follow below the ledge due to light / no use. The view from Hall's Ledge is ok but not great as the trees continue to grow up.

Only one other person sighted on Hall's Ledge Trail. A quiet day out there.
