Comments
Comments: Starting from the intersection of Haselton Brook and FR23, I bushwhacked 2.5 miles up the Haselton Brook valley to the western base of Mt. Tecumseh, where I picked up an old logging road that ascended about halfway up the mountain. The remaining whack up to Tecumseh’s summit was not too bad. I then took the herd path over to Green Mountain and Foss Peak, but instead of continuing on to Dickey Mountain, I whacked down to Shattuck Brook and up to the summit of Hogback Mountain; from here I continued on to Fisher Mountain and then descended back to the USFS roads via the blue-blazed trail. Beautiful day with decent visibility and no wind.
