 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
This isn’t a trail but rather an access road. No blowdowns or obstructions. Pretty erodes though. Not good footing and my car certainly wouldn’t make it up it. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
It would be fine for dogs but probably not recommended since this is private property. |

I saw this access road on Gaia last summer when I redlined Cates Hill Trail so thought that since I was so close I might as well grab the peak for my 500 Highest BUT then saw a no trespassing sign. Today, my friend offered to bushwhack to Cates Hill with me (she hates bushwhacking) since I did Cates Hill with her. Once I told her there was an access road though the decision was made for me that we would not be bushwhacking 😂 I didn’t see a no trespassing sign this time though and my friend also pointed out that the private property is not likely a homeowners but Eversource’s... which made me feel a bit better.
The road is about 0.3-0.4mi to the top at easy to moderate grade. Not a recognized summit. Of course I hit anything that looked like it could possibly be a high point ;P |
