| Water Crossing Notes: |
Got to that 3rd river crossing after taking the detour to avoid the first two and realized we'd have to walk through barefoot and carry our boots across which was very cold. I would recommend doing the gale river trial out and back to avoid this. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Lots of blowdowns, lots of unpacked snow on the twin trails wish I had packed my snow shoes at some points. |

Saw two other dogs and also brought my pup along she had a great day lots of water along the trails for them. |

| Comments: |
Seemed like every type of snow was on this trail from slush, to unpacked and packed powder with occasional ice. Winter hiking is here be prepared and I wouldn't leave home with out at least 3 pairs of socks in my pack after this brutally wet hike. |
