| Comments: |
Trails and bushwhacks in good shape for the most part, muddy in places with the rain-snow-melt but not bad at all. Black Pond whack is not well defined for the first few tenths of a mile with the leaves down but then it's easy to follow from there on out. Brutus bushwhack is easy to follow, looks like it got beat up this summer as it is becoming eroded when it leaves the drainage and heads steeply uphill. Shortly after intersecting Owl's Head Path is where the snowline began, an inch or two with a few more inches along the ridge, melting quickly though. The small wooden foot bridge on Lincoln Woods trail (few tenths past Osseo Trail junction) is taped off and has a closed sign on it.
Great morning and afternoon spent in the Pemi on very quiet trails. |
