Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Carrigain brook surprised me. It was not too high but I did not even see it on the maps or read about it in reviews. People were looking up and down stream for better crossings. Everyone appeared to make it across dry but there was some strategic rock hopping after the rains/snow.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One down tree to go under and one to go over. Nothing major.

Comments
Comments: Trail was great. It was wet after Friday/Saturday's rain/snow. Some running water in a few spots. Mud in many but nothing deep. Snow was minor and only at higher elevations. People were 50/50 on traction. Microspikes helped but was not necessary and annoying on some of the rocks. It looked like 4 inches of powder that was packed/slushy on the trail and turning to mud. Carrigain Brook took some rock hopping but was passable without major drama.
