Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Carrigain Brook was easy to rock hop from the OLD trail (now closed off by tree trunks, but still a clear path/old road on the left before the first water crossing.) Much easier rock hop on this side trail if you want to keep feet dry. Stay on the old trail a few minutes until it reconnects you to the Signal Ridge Trail.

Trail Maintenance Notes: A few downed trees. Easy step-overs, one duck-under, none obstructing.

Comments: Nice day to be out, few hikers. Much of the snow has melted. Some compacted snow/ice after 3,700 feet mixed in with long patches of mud. I put on spikes, my friend bare booted and we both did fine.
