The Wood Road Parking lot is CLOSED Monday through Friday for scheduled logging. Sorry, folks, but north-central Belknap is weekends-only for now.
The Wood Road parking lot filled up quickly. Cars parked on one side of the narrow access road without apparent incident. |

There was one glove set next to a cairn near the top of Mt. Klem. |

Repeat: Trailheads are CLOSED on weekdays for an unspecified amount of time.
I drove past the Mt. Major trailhead to get to Wood Road. The cars were parked for miles. It must have been as crowded as a line at Disney World. Skip Mt. Major and head for another part of the Belknaps! Hike all twelve peaks and get the range hiker patch or redline the place and get a patch from the Belknap Range Trail Tenders. |
