We are in the season where conditions change rapidly, so the following may be irrelevant very soon: Dry trail until just below North Carter Trail junction on Imp. Four to eight inches of snow on trail from there until halfway down Carter Dome Trail. Then gradually diminishing snow as you approach Nineteen Mile Brook Trail. We bare-botted to just South of Middle Carter but probably should have put spikes on earlier. We kept spikes on until NMB. |
