Comments
Comments: Usual shoulder season conditions. Snow line started around 2600' and was four to eight inches with drifts making for some tedious travel above treeline in spots. Snowshoes would have been an overkill and would be ruined if you wore them. I wore my old beat up microspikes but the other three in our group did not use them. Snow will be melting over the next few days with some nightly freeze ups.

Weather was great today with great views. No one seen on Brookside or Watson, then we saw a bunch of people coming up Madison's summit cone, then it was really quiet again over to Adams.
