Water Crossing Notes: Crossing at Cog slightly elevated-took my chances walking across an old log. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in great shape with the exception of two blowdowns on the Jewell, one large one small. The Sphinx/Gulfside trail sign was down on my return. I couldn't fix as gusts were ramping up.

Comments: Quick hike to Mt Jefferson and back. With moderate sustained winds and warm temps it made for a great hike although a little tiring hiking on the way back into the winds until dropping into treeline.
