 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking on Lake View Ave is not allowed, per signage on the road. We parked at the information center/red caboose area on 103 around 10:30am, crossed the road, and went up Lake View Ave to the trailhead. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blowdowns along the way up to the MSG. One major blowdown looked like it might be from the recent storms (leaves were still red/yellow) and it completely obstructing the trail - a herd path is starting to form around it. All other blowdowns were easy to navigate over. |

Big thanks to the landowners that allow hikers to use the trail on their property at the beginning (from what the signs told us at the trailhead).
Other than the blowdowns mentioned above, these trails are in great condition. The overlook above Lake Solitude was very busy/crowded, so we just continued onto the summit of Sunapee where there was much more room to spread out. Some nice picnic tables at the State Parks building. |
