Comments: A beautiful but windy morning for the Wildcats.
There was one other vehicle parked at the ski area @ 5:30. Headlamped up the access road to the col then took Wildcat Ridge Trail all the way to A peak.

It was a quick climb from the ski area, however the ridge trail is very rough in sections, especially between D and C peak. There was ice in a few of the steeper spots, but easily avoidable. Views into Carter Notch were fantastic from the outlook on A.

The descent to the ski area was magnificent, you're looking right at Washington almost the entire way. Fall colors were still popping!

Very few people out but it was great chatting with the folks I did see. I only saw a handful of folks on the ridge and the first wasn't until I was almost back to D peak on my way out. There were a few more groups down low on the ski trails.
Still plenty of parking available when I left @10:30
