6 cars at 7:30 a.m. By the time I returned at 12, there were over 55-60 cars parked along both sides of the access road. |

Trail in great shape. Did meet up with someone maintaining the trail who was disposing of someone's mask, discarded in a tree. Also, there were a couple of water bottles and masks on the trail. |

Lots of folks out with their pooches today. All very well behaved. |

At the base kiosk, a reddish "Fordham" university ball cap. |

Perfect day with stellar views of Winni, Squam and the Ossipee range. Wish people at the fire tower would wait for people to get down before they started up, very little room to pass in the steps. And most had no masks either. |
