Comments
Comments: 30 degrees starting out with a stiff breeze blowing. glad I had gloves as the summit was way cool with the wind. Icing started around 3000' elevation but not a problem if you pay attention. No view at the summit but looked like a fire tower had been there once upon a time. Granite stone had USFS 1928 on it and some posts set in a triangle. Overall a great sunny day for a stroll. The lower 3/4 Mile had a lot of leaves on trail. Didn't notice on the way up but going down there were a lot of ankle turning stones under the leaves so be wary.
