We parked on the left at a bump-out about .8 mi. up Meriden Hill Road just beyond the narrow bridge and new construction currently going on. This is about 200 yds from the ATV/snowmo trail (green gate) which we used. We followed Lady B's directions (thank you very much) and came out at the summit labeled Day Mountain Picnic Area.
