Comments
Comments: We decided to approach Potato Hill from the North as we were already into the area for Stratford-South Peak. As stated above, parking at the end of Perham Road and ATV trail we crossed Perham Rd onto an slightly overgrown logging road. There is a gated private drive just before the Perham/ATV junction but there were no posted restrictions at this time. The logging road paralleled the private drive for about .5 mi. We then too a bearing for the peak, crossing the driveway (twice, as it looped around) and came out at the owners sawmill operation. from here there was logging road heading southerly uphill which we followed for .4 mi. then headed into the open woods toward the summit. Found the register/jar on the most southeastern bump of the summit. A word of note; at this time there were no restrictions from the landowner and we didn't see anyone on this day to ask permission but with care and a little extra walking on the original logging road you may be able to avoid much of his activity. The other route from Tetu Road (labled as Potato Hill Road on Bog road) is the other option for this peak.
