 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
4 cars in lot when I got there at 7:15. Cars parked along road when I returned at 12:00, although by then there were spaces in the lot as the early hikers had departed. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
About a half dozen step-overs, mostly between West Tecumseh and Tecumseh. Trail structurally in good shape except that the stretch just before gaining the West Tecumseh ridge is showing serious signs of erosion/trail widening. Even this relatively little-used trail is showing signs of overuse. |

 | Comments: |
Got out early to try and beat the crowds. A dozen or so people on Tecumseh when I got there. Most had come up from the ski area. A lot of leaves are down and as a result the trail is becoming a bit slippery on the descent.
The Kanc was a disaster going back to Conway. Backed up almost to Lincoln Woods for those going to Lincoln. I was in bumper-to-bumper, slow traffic from Woodstock past Loon, and then from East Pond trailhead to scenic overlook just East of Hancock trailhead. Took me two hours from Woodstock to Conway. |
