Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: What aN adventure of a drive in the hardy family minivan! First mile on Tower Rd. Was dicey but we made it. Five other cars at 11:15 am when we arrived. The privy in the lot appeared to be new.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Coot’s erosion + rain = mud and slippery ascent. Poles were very helpful. On Bobcat there’s One blowdown that required taking off backpacks and singing the Limbo song.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Didn’t see any today. Coot might be challenging with the mud and pebbly surface but Bobcat is fine.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a Trojan wrapper on Coot. Seriously people. I paid it forward and removed it.

Comments
Comments: Such a long drive but lovely, expansive view for limited work - despite some clouds you have a clear shot into Quebec, the Rangeley and Grafton Notch areas, and on the other side, to Vermont. Even with past peak foliage it was lovely. I agree with the WMG - best views are from the overlook trail although we did climb the tower. Minimal wind and very friendly gray jays.

50/52 WAV with this one - almost home!
