One large blowdown on the Faraway Mountain Trail. They were mowing on the High Ridge Trail to Black Snout and Shaw |

There is water but it is fairly spaced out so, always bring extra. Easy trails for all kinds of dogs. The conservancy asks that you leash your dog. |

15.3 miles redlining Castle in the Clouds and I threw in Black Snout just because. Once I got away from the more popular routes, it felt like I was the only one out there.
Shannon Brook Trail is closed... Washed out area was pretty bad. I took a wrong turn from Turtleback Mountain Trail and ended up on it for .3 miles.
Beautiful day yesterday to leave the crowds behind and hike. |
