Comments
Comments: I had always wondered about cutting over from Avalon to Willard. I hiked down Avalon Tr. about 1/10 below the summit spur. I bushwhacked in initially open woods, cutting across the slope. I kept getting forced north owed to some steep/thick going. Once in the col, the woods opened up for the climb to Willard. I hit the trail at its bend and took it to the top.
