Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Well underhill...should be undergrowth. You can tell it is a less used trail for sure. There are 2 blowdowns (1 happened while i was there) on the bog bridges on the four soldiers path in the first .5 part. Then once back on four soldiers path some under brush has come up. I wish the eye of the needle could still be seen. Once I got to the old logging area, I would not want to be there in winter or I would be lost as very very open and not a very defined trail for a short time.

Bugs
Bugs: no haha it rained the whole time
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: lost nothing and found a nice lunch spot at the pond

Comments
Comments: Well I wanted to the see the colors everyone saw over the weekend while I was working so I went off and started for 1pm to hopefully miss the rain. Well that was not the case, I had my umbrella and thankfully my ula pack has attachments for my umbrella and I could use both of my poles. I was in a cloud and more rain, then another cloud, then more rain to finally sun at the end of the day. I have been wanting to get out here but I knew the undergrowth would be higher due to the little use. The area is beautiful and I saw no one all day! I had my orange and every other color on as hunting season has begun! I finished up some redlines I need and made it up to Crescent but I did not feel like bushwhacking to the peak in an umbrella so with my wet feet I went off to his Randolph. The part we brushed and blazed from last year on a work day with the rmc still looks great! I saw a little line on the map after I got to my car and brought my crazy creek down to the pond and had lunch and a beer while clouds danced in the sky! Also I have no idea how I did not see a moose..... it was like moose country looking everywhere out there! Pond of safety road did find in my rav4 but had to be careful in some spots
