Comments
Comments: Well it was 38 degrees to start off the day so we headed up the road to about 2350' and started whacking towards the peak. We hit some open woods, some old logging roads over grown with hobble bush and back into the woods to stop the tripping. It was pretty steep for a whack but looking at the contour lines we knew what we were in for. We only hit some thick stuff at about 3300' or so just after an open area. We just followed a bearing to the top. Once on top we found the register and the view! it was a little cloudy but still a nice view to be had. We headed back down and headed a little north which we tried to skip the thick stuff but it wasn't too bad. We ended up on an old skidder road and then we went back to open woods. The total trip was 4.35 miles and took us around 3:12 for time with 1658' elevation gain. Good day out!
