Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The Garfield Trail has 8 blowdowns,Franconia Brook Trail has approx 4 small blowdowns 1 large the rest small. All easy stepovers. The 2 Lincoln Brook Trail signs are down- the second sign is partially rotted but still usable. There are several small diameter birch blowdowns and just a few larger blowdown until Owl's Head Path. Easy stepovers. There are also some high leaners nothing impeding the trail. There are a few blowdowns above the slide one of which is blocking trail-found it better to go left of blowdown. From the base of the OHP there are a few more blowdowns and a treetop in trail. The BP Bushwhack has a few easy stepovers. Black Pond Trail has approx 4 blowdowns stepovers and duck under. Graffiti remains on BP Trailhead post. Lincoln Woods Trail also has a few stepover blowdowns

Comments
Comments: Nice day for this hike. Originally I was going to bushwhack North of Owl's Head summit and hike Garfield and possibly Galehead but a late start called for a change of plans. It was nice chatting with a few hikers I met on the trail today.
