| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail was in great shape. Looks like someone had recently cleared some blowdowns. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Would not recommend taking a dog to the summit. I doubt they could ascend, and especially descend, some of the rock faces. The felsenmeer at the peak would not be ideal for them either. |

| Bugs: |
None. |
|
| Lost and Found: |
Saw a hat near the kiosk at the trailhead. |

Tommy Jeff's proved to be way less of a struggle than I've heard people say it is. Granted, there is a little "rock climbing," but it's nothing an individual in average shape couldn't do. The only issue I found was the felsenmeer starting about a quarter-mile from the peak, which had become slick from the mist in the cloud bank, but again, use your head and you'll be fine. Summit was socked-in, with gusts up to 40mph+, it looked like it was slowly clearing as my descent went on. |
