Comments
Comments: I read that these trails were wet, unavoidably muddy, and that the water crossing were difficult. I'm guessing that's probably accurate most of the time. However, due to the ongoing drought, the mud was mostly avoidable, the water crossings were pretty easy, and although there were some wet areas, my boots stayed dry the whole day. This may be the only good thing about the drought!

Spoke to some hikers who saw a couple bears on the Rocky Branch Trail. Make sure you talk loudly!

Colors are really starting to show. Peak is probably a couple days away, if not already here.
