Parked at designated lot on Rt. 136 near the junction of Farrington Rd. and Rt. 136. Room for over a dozen cars. This lot was full/overflowing when we descended... but there was plenty of room in the morning. |

Lovely lollipop loop hike to Crotched Mtn. via some new trails for me. Fabulous view ledge and picnic spot about a tenth below official summit. The official summit is a little underwhelming as it is shared with a communication tower and fencing. But we visited the old fire tower footings and noted the USGS benchmark had been moved.
Great fall hike with some AMC-AT friends.
