Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of space at Lincoln Woods at 5am for the car dropoff, and also at Zealand trailhead at 6am. It's amazing, though, to see so many cars at LW midweek well into September.

Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Minor, all easy walk-overs. So dry.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All in good shape, overall, with a few step-overs, and evidence of blowdown removals.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few, well behaved.
Bugs: None. Well, it was in the very low 30s at the start, and I hadn't expected any.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found:
Comments: Nice day for the classic N-S traverse over the Bonds. It didn't get as windy as the forecast had suggested, although there were some decent gusts in a few exposed places. Also, the forecast had called for steadily increasing cloud cover, but that didn't really happen. A trip report for the same route a day later speaks of very strong winds at Guyot, so I'm glad we went when we did.
