Parking/Access Road Notes: Arrived at trailhead at 0900, lot full with cars parked along sides. Left at 1400, cars extending down past guardrails

Water Crossing Notes: Couple easy stream crossings. Streams are low - minimal risk for wet feet

Trail Maintenance Notes: The Carter Dome trail is slightly overgrown close to the split from 19 mile brook

Comments: Beautiful hike with gorgeous views at Mt. Hight - fall foliage is starting to bloom. Sunny but very windy and relatively cold with some frost forming at higher elevations. No ice or snow yet. Dress warmly!
