| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Small lots at both the North and South terminals of Imp Trail were relatively busy, but there was room for more cars at both. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Everything very dry. Only significant crossing (on North Branch of Imp Trail) was easy. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Imp Trail is free from obstructions. The small wooden ladder is missing some rungs. A little erosion/trenching as trail ascends Imp Face. A couple of easy step-overs on North Carter Trail. Carter-Moriah fine except that, on the bog bridges that go through the small "meadow" between North Carter Trail and Middle Carter summit, a fair number of the nails are raised. Someone, sometime will trip on one of those. |

| Bugs: |
None. It was 30 degrees when I left my car at 7:20. I think the bugs may be gone for the year. |

| Comments: |
A nice day on the trails. Saw people, but not too busy. Many of the people I saw were doing overnights. |
