Lincoln Woods FULL at 4:10 in the morning. Some spots open at 9pm, with cars up and down the Kanc. The federal cops are out and writing parking tickets. They are a lot more than your usual municipal citation. Park legally. The cops are also out at night with flashlights looking for people sleeping in cars. |

Mostly very dry. Some rock hops on the way out. I think 3 easy crossings |

The Galehead hut is buttoned up tight, so no water, toilet or snacks there. Plan accordingly. Garfield spring is still flowing. As of last Sat, you may top up there. Osseo seemed extra dry. The 2 usual streams higher up on the Bondcliff Trail are dry.
If starting at LW, bring enough water to get to Garfield Spring. From Garfield Spring, be able to carry enough till you are 3/4 of the way out on the Bondcliff Trail
The entire loop was generally a crowded. Lots of hikers and campers |
